Nick Freeman was handed a deal after a successful trial period in the summer of 2016, linking up with the club after spells in non-league with Histon and Biggleswade.
Freeman made his full debut at Blackpool in August and scored his first professional goal in the Checkatrade Trophy win over West Ham, before moving out on loan to Wealdstone for a short spell.
Able to operate on either flank, Freeman enjoyed more regular first-team football with the Wanderers in 2017/18, scoring his first EFL goal against Notts County, and would go on to score three more times and contribute two assists in 34 apperances.
It was announced on 17th January 2018 that Freeman had signed a new contract at the club, keeping him at Adams Park until the summer of 2020.
