Creative forward Alex Samuel joined the Chairboys on a free transfer in August, after impressing on trial over the summer.
The 22-year-old, penned a short-term deal until January 20th after proving himself to the management staff in training, and having also caught the eye playing against Wanderers for Stevenage last season.
Samuel made his breakthrough in the Swansea City academy in 2012 following a stint at Aberystwyth Town, spending time on loan in Scotland with Greenock Morton and then featuring in the Swans’ under-23 side in Checkatrade Trophy ties in the 2016/17 campaign.
He finished that season at Newport County, helping the Exiles escape relegation on the final day of the season and winning their Player of the Year despite having only joined in January.
Those exploits earned him a move to Stevenage last summer, and he scored four times in 28 appearances before leaving the Hertfordshire club at the end of his contract in June.
