Danny Rowe first came on loan from Rotherham United towards the end of the 2013/14 season and returned the following summer, proving his competence both at centre-back and centre-midfield.

He was twice recalled by the Millers but Wanderers manager was keen to bring him back to Adams Park and he secured his man on a permanent deal in July 2015.

Danny signed a three-year deal at Adams Park after leaving Rotherham United, but found his chances in the team limited during the first part of the season, making 10 appearances. Gareth Ainsworth allowed Rowe to move to National League side Barrow on a one-month loan spell to benefit from more regular football in February 2016.

However he came back to the club after a short loan period at Barrow and slotted into the first team at the end of the season, proving his abilities in midfield.

Due to strong competition for places at Adams Park in 2016/17, Rowe would move out on loan to Barrow once more in January 2017 until the end of the campaign.
