Ex-Reading winger arrived at Adams Park on a deal for the rest of the season in November 2020, making his debut at former club Nottingham Forest.
McCleary started his career in non-league with Slough and Bromley before being snapped up by Forest, going on to appear in the Premier League with Reading in an eight-year spell prior to his departure in the summer.
He scored his first goal for Wycombe in the 2-2 draw at Preston.
