The former Wales U21 captain moved to Wycombe in June 2014 having enjoyed a successful career previously, starting out in the youth team at Cardiff City.
He established his Football League career at Bristol Rovers, winning the Supporters’ Young Player of the Year, achieving promotion and reaching an FA Cup Quarter Final, before moving on to Oldham, Accrington and Shrewsbury.
After being named the Shrews’ Player of the Year in 2013/14, he moved south to Wycombe and instantly caught the eye, particularly with set-piece specialities, including the free-kick in Wanderers' play-off final at Wembley. He’s gone on to retain the first choice left-back slot, finishing the 2018/19 and 2019/20 season as the club’s leading goal scorer in all competitions.
The left-back enjoyed a standout season during the 2019/20 campaign, winning the League One PFA Fans’ Player of the Season after an unforgettable year that saw him cement himself as the set-piece king. He scored a memorable hat-trick against Lincoln City, goals from direct corners and free kicks, while also contributing hugely in the play-off final, notching a penalty and an assist as Wycombe got promoted to the Championship.
