Scottish-born right-back Grimmer arrived at Adams Park in the summer of 2019 after impressing during pre-season, signing a two-year deal.
Grimmer started with hometown club Aberdeen before switching to Fulham and enjoying loan spells with Port Vale and Shrewsbury.
He made a permanent move to Coventry City, where he won promotion – scoring in the Wembley play-off final – and earned a place in the PFA League 2 Team of the Year.
Displaying a knack for scoring high-profile goals, Grimmer sunk Premier League side Stoke City in the FA Cup, before leaving the Sky Blues in the summer and heading south to Buckinghamshire.
During the 2019/20 season, Grimmer broke into the side only to get injured as Wycombe went into the second half of the season. However, he fought back, earned his placed and played a key role in all the play-off final games. In August 2020, Grimmer extended his contract until 2023, making the number 2 shirt his own.
