Wycombe Wanderers are looking for a Commercial Executive to join the team.

Job Title:

Commercial Executive

Reporting Structure

The job holder will report directly to the Commercial Manager.

Salary:

£20,000, reviewed after three months with potential to move to a higher/commission-based salary structure.

Main Purpose Of The Role:

To generate leads for all commercial opportunities with local, national and international businesses. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following specific functions:

  1. Identifying, calling and presenting to potential commercial partners: This will include building a pipeline of contacts to call, with daily targets.
  2. Managing the club's Pipedrive account: Using the CRM tool to manage all targets, contacts and leads.
  3. Managing client needs: Dealing with all servicing aspects of our client relationships.
  4. Marketing: Assisting with various marketing initiatives to develop the club’s presence in and around the High Wycombe area.

The role will encompass a wide range of activities and will need a team player to engage with all other Adams Park employees. With a primary focus on generating additional revenue for the club through sales, the successful candidate will also be expected to develop strong relationships with existing clients as well as contribute to the club’s marketing output.

Key Essential Skills

A natural at sales, someone who is happy to be on the phones to introduce the club to prospects and turn contacts into leads.

Strong administration and IT skills across Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

Ability to multitask in an extremely busy and sometimes pressurised environment.

Creative, personable and a willingness to get involved in a variety of functions.

Previous experience of a CRM tool would be desirable but not essential.

Hours Of Work

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30, with 1 hour unpaid lunch break each day. In addition you will be expected to work on all home match days and at certain events outside of these hours as agreed in advance.
