Near 20-year attendance record could be broken!

Ipswich game heading for bumper crowd.

25 October 2021

Wanderers are on course for the biggest attendance for a home midweek evening league fixture in almost 20 years when Ipswich Town visit Adams Park on Tuesday 2nd November (k.o. 7.45pm).

The Tractor Boys have sold out their allocation of 1,800 tickets in the East Stand, while tickets in home areas have been selling fast since the Chairboys recorded yet another victory at Adams Park on Saturday to keep up their 100% home record in League 1.

6,232 fans were inside the stadium for a midweek match with Southampton back in the 2009/10 season, and 6,240 were present to see the Blues take on Leyton Orient in a six-goal thriller in 2005/06.

A Monday night affair with Sheffield Wednesday attracted 6,444 to Adams Park in 2003, while a year earlier, Adams Park was almost full to the rafters with 9,250 present for a local derby with Reading.

Book your tickets fast to secure the best available seats for the clash with Ipswich; head to now!
