Wycombe Wanderers vs Portsmouth
Saturday 13th November 2021 (KO 3pm)
Referee: Tom Nield
Wycombe will be looking to rectify their recent form and get a win back under their belts in this weekend's big clash against Portsmouth.
The Chairboys are without a win in their last four games in all compeitions, with the last victory coming against Crewe in the last Saturday fixture at Adams Park. The last league match for the Blues signalled the end of the 100% record at home in a 4-1 loss to Ipswich.
Pompey meanwhile will be trying to extend their unbeaten run to six games, with their most recent League One tie ending as a 1-1 draw with division newcomers Cheltenham Town at Fratton Park.
The last time these two faced off in League One came on Boxing 2019 as Portsmouth ran out 2-0 victors. However, the last Adams Park leg was triumphant for the Chairboys, where a 1-0 win was secured by an Adebayo Akinfenwa penalty.
Gareth Ainsworth played a young Chairboys side against Burton in midweek, so the first team squad will be fit and firing to take on Pompey, with no new injury concerns to add to the list.
The only extra absentees will be Sullay Kaikai, Daryl Horgan and Tjay De Barr due to international commitments.
As for Pompey, they will be without Gavin Bazunu and Joe Morrell, who have jetted off to be with their respective countries.
Club captain Clark Robertson is out with a hip problem, while Ellis Harrison, Jayden Reid and Ryan Tunnicliffe are sidelined also.
Man in the middle
This weekend's referee is Neil Hair, assisted by Geoffrey Russell and Anthony Da Costa, and Sam Purkiss as fouth official.

His last game in charge of the Chairboys came back in December 2019 in a 2-0 win over Burton Albion.
