Team news, tickets and more...

Wycombe Wanderers vs Ipswich Town
Tuesday 2nd November 2021 (KO 7.45pm)
Adams Park
Referee: Lee Swabey

Wycombe welcome Ipswich Town through their doors on Tuesday night as they aim to extend their 100% record at home.

The Chairboys had to battle hard on the weekend as they held on to a 3-3 draw with Fleetwood Town, a point that sees them in 3rd place in Sky Bet League One.

The Tractor Boys have had an indifferent start to the 2021/22 campaign, but were five games unbeaten up until their 2-1 loss to Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.

With this being a rearranged fixture, as Wycombe chose to postpone the September 4th fixture due to international call ups, three points would mean that Gareth Ainsworth's men could climb to the summit of the table ahead of Plymouth.

As they were on Saturday however, the Blues' defence will be tested by Paul Cook's side, who have scored more than any other team in the league this season with 30 goals.

Team news

Wanderers will once more be without the magic of top scorer Garath McCleary due to the shoulder injury he sustained in the last home game against Crewe Alexandra. Apart from that, Ainsworth will have his usual selection to pick from.

Ipswich meanwhile have a few injuries in the squad at present, as they are missing Tom Carroll due to a hip concern, and both Janoi Donacien and Wes Burns missed out on Saturday due to illness.

However, Hayden Coulson comes back into contention after recovering from a thigh problem, while Luke Woolfenden is also available having made his return against Plymouth.

Man in the middle

Lee Swabey holds the whistle for only the third league meeting between Wycombe and Ipswich, who has nine games under his belt so far this campaign, handing out 17 yellow cards and a red in the process.

His assistants include Garry Maskell, Paul Lister and Alan Young as the fourth official.
