Wanderers are thrilled to deliver some breaking news on the eve of the final game of the season, as David Stockdale extends his contract at Adams Park for another year.

The goalkeeper arrived at the club on a permanent deal last summer after two previous loan spells, and acted as deputy until being thrust into action in February, playing each of the last 16 matches and keeping seven clean sheets.

Boss Gareth Ainsworth said: "Stocko has been first-class, both in terms of his character but most importantly with his performances, which have earned him a long spell in the side and a new contract.

"He's an important part of our planning for next season and it's fantastic to have someone of his calibre, quality and personality at the club."

The former Fulham, Brighton and Birmingham keeper also spent time on an emergency loan at Stevenage this season, making five appearances.
