Chairman Rob Couhig has written to season ticket holders in relation to the refund process for 2020/21 season tickets.
Thank you to those season ticket holders who have submitted their option for this year’s season tickets. I understand more than half have now responded. Letting us know your decision allows the office to promptly issue refunds to those fans who have asked for their money back and better prepare for the launch of the season ticket packages for 2021/22.
I have received many messages since we outlined the season ticket refund options; most have been very supportive and appreciative of the situation in which we find ourselves. There was also a legitimate concern about the policy on the availability of your seat if you chose a refund. Let me make it clear.
I made a commitment. If you wanted your money back, you could have it. As part of that commitment, should you choose a refund, you will still be able to purchase the same seats before they are made available to the public. It’s that simple.
I am also committed to finding multiple ways to thank those fans who leave their money in the club by waiving a refund. One of the additional benefits will be to be in front of the queue when it comes to the priority system. However, if you bought a season ticket for 2020/21, you will be able to buy the same seats again before they go on general sale.
The deadline for submitting your option is March 21st . After that, the team will be in touch with you with further information.
