Gareth Ainsworth has made a first move into the loan market in this January transfer window, bringing highly-rated Leicester City striker Admiral Muskwe to Adams Park on a deal until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old, capped four times by the Zimbabwean national side, has been a prolific goalscorer for the Foxes at all youth levels since joining the club aged nine, and enjoyed his first loan spell in senior football with Swindon Town last season.
Admiral trained with the squad on Tuesday, will wear squad number 15, and is eligible to feature in Saturday’s FA Cup tie with Preston North End at Adams Park.
“We have a good relationship with Leicester City and I’d like to thank them for allowing us to bring Admiral here, and also to Rob Couhig and the board for making it possible. We have a few targets that we’re chasing and we really believe that we’re not far off having a side that can win enough points to keep us in the division.”
