Alex Samuel leaves the club

Striker departs Adams Park.

31 August 2021

Alex Samuel has left Wycombe Wanderers by mutual consent, ending a three-year stay at Adams Park, and has subsequently joined Scottish Premier League side Ross County.

The striker arrived in the summer of 2018 after impressing during a trial period, and went on to make 90 appearances for the Chairboys, scoring a number of important goals including a last-minute winner at Accrington and the fourth goal in the League 1 play-off semi-final first leg win at Fleetwood.

He leaves the club on a free transfer with the very best wishes of everyone at Wycombe Wanderers.

Gareth Ainsworth will give his thoughts on the departures of Alex and fellow striker Scott Kashket later today.
