Harry Gadd joins to lead worldwide campaign

Chairman Rob Couhig: "Now is the time to make giant strides forward."

Wycombe Wanderers are thrilled to bring on board Harry Gadd as the club’s new Global Marketing Executive, responsible for the development of the WorldWide Wycombe Wanderers Phenomenon.

A recent graduate in MSc Sports Management from UCFB Wembley, Harry has previously spent time working in Spanish-speaking commercial roles in Chile, and has been tasked with engaging with existing and potential Chairboys supporters across the globe, driving new revenue streams through merchandise and live match streaming opportunities. He will be the club’s first ever ambassador to the Phenomenon. 

Working alongside both the media and commercial teams at Adams Park, Harry has begun work on a unique concept in English football which the club believes will significantly increase its worldwide profile, supporter base, and add to its financial sustainability.

Chairman Rob Couhig said: “One of my most exciting discoveries about the club was the existence of the WorldWide Wycombe Wanderers Phenomenon. Supporters of the club and I had a great time last year flying the flag literally around the world. The base has grown and we are becoming better known all the time. I believe we made small steps last season on showcasing this wonderful football club to more people than just the local community and loyal followers. Now is the time to make giant strides forward.

“This is the world’s game. We participate in one of the great leagues. The Wycombe area is a wonderful area to visit. Adams Park is a special place to attend a match. And our club is an exciting one to follow. It has the power to engage and excite sports fans in every country on the planet. People want to follow the club.

"Harry has one of the most exciting tasks of anyone working in football today. He can assist the club and our worldwide fans. We are delighted to bring him into the team to focus solely on the Phenomenon and its members. I am confident that he will be successful creating and enhancing long-lasting relationships between the club and its growing worldwide fan base.”

Harry said: "I'm absolutely delighted to be joining Wycombe Wanderers at what is an incredibly exciting time. The club has made huge progress in the past year in its relationships with its supporters WorldWide. It will be my role to assist our present supporters grow this unique base. I will need their help and I can assure them they will have mine.

"We are committed to expanding our outreach in more languages. As such, I am looking forward to utilising my Spanish again. Rob has stressed that this will be a foundational aspect of our commitment to financial sustainability. With the assistance of Chairboys WorldWide, we will be exploring new commercial opportunities. It is a really unique and exciting role to focus on assisting the WorldWide Wycombe Wanderers Phenomenon.
