Wycombe's first ever Championship fixture coincided with the launch of a brand-new live studio show on YouTube and highlights package for Spanish-speaking supporters this weekend.
Chairboys Live: Matchday was broadcast on YouTube ahead of kick-off at Saturday's meeting with Rotherham United at Adams Park, with host Dan Simpson interviewing Dominic Gape and Pete Couhig on the sofa as well as introducing recent match highlights, thoughts of Gareth Ainsworth and a behind-the-scenes look at last week's photoshoot.
Then on Sunday, the club published - for the first time ever - a highlights package from the game featuring an audio report in Spanish from reporter Juan Pablo Garcia Montero, receiving thousands of views from members of the WorldWide Wycombe Wanderers Phenomenon.
Head of Media Matt Cecil said: "Chairboys Live was a continuation of the live chats we hosted during lockdown and it was great to see it come to life in a studio with lots of content packed into a half-hour show.
"Dan Simpson was the natural choice to host the show following his excellent work on our Bean With The Shot programme previously, and I'd like to give a massive thanks to Mark Fawkes and Tom Baldwin for bringing the production together behind the scenes.
"The viewing figures so far have been really pleasing, as has the feedback from the sponsors who were showcased throughout the programme. We're hoping it can become a regular feature ahead of all home matchdays and some away games too."
Harry Gadd, the club's new Global Marketing Executive, added: "The club has a rapidly-growing fanbase in the Spanish-speaking world and the Spanish highlights package is the first step towards expanding our media output to engage more and more supporters whose first language may not be English.
"Juan Pablo is a very well-respected journalist and reporter in Madrid and did a great job on the highlights package. We're excited to put plans in place to develop this concept and make sure that the club continues to reach out to as many people as possible around the world."
