Wycombe Wanderers are pleased to support the Wycombe Homeless Connection's Big Sleepout event once again, which this year takes place on Friday 20th November.
The club has previously hosted the fundraising event at its Adams Park stadium but Covid-19 enforced restrictions have prompted the charity to make this a virtual occasion instead.
Gareth Ainsworth, Alex Samuel, Rob Couhig and Pete Couhig have all recorded video messages which will be shown as part of the Big Quiz which takes beforehand; click here for details of how to get involved.
Wycombe Homeless Connection say: "Swap your bed for a sleeping bag and help fight homelessness in your sleep!
"We want more people than ever before to ‘sleep out’ on Friday 20th November in solidarity with the people we serve, and raise money.
"Rather than gather together at large venues, this year we’re asking you to sleep out ‘at home’.
"You can sleep:
in your garden
or an (empty) bathtub
on a school playground
outside a youth club
or just somewhere you wouldn’t normally sleep!
"You can take part on your own, with your family or with a group, and there’s no age limit this year so everyone can join in.
"There will be online entertainment and fun on the night – more details nearer the time.
"The event is again kindly being sponsored by our friends at Dreams."
