Wycombe Wanderers have completed the signing of exciting attacking player Garath McCleary, who joins the club on a free transfer.
The former Nottingham Forest and Reading man has trained with the Blues for the past week and put pen to paper this morning on a deal which keeps him at Adams Park for the rest of the season.
Capped 24 times by Jamaica, McCleary started his career in non-league with Oxford City, Slough Town and Bromley and went on to play in the top-flight for the Royals, with whom he spent eight years before departing this summer.
“He’s been without a club since the summer but kept himself fit and sharp so we hope to be able to bring him into a matchday squad very soon and I’m looking forward to seeing him in action.”
