Floodlight installation to be completed this weekend

Upgrade brings stadium's lighting in line with some of the top venues.

13 November 2020

The upgrade of the Adams Park floodlights will be completed this weekend with the installation of the fourth pylon, bringing the stadium’s lighting in line with some of the top venues in world football.

The system has been custom designed by Musco Lighting and features state-of-the-art Total Light Control—TLC for LED™ technology. With patented light control and a complete system design, the new lighting will deliver a much whiter, cleaner, and more uniform quality of light to the pitch, improving visibility, minimising glare, and making colours appear more vibrant throughout the stadium. Energy consumption also will be significantly reduced.

The new lighting at Adams Park features the same Musco LED technology that’s recently been installed at major football stadiums throughout Europe, including Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Wembley Stadium, the San Siro, Emirates Stadium, Aviva Stadium, and Hampden Park. It’s also been the system of choice at dozens of American venues that are home to National Football League, National Basketball Association, and Major League Baseball clubs.

Wanderers are back in action at Adams Park on Saturday 21st November (k.o. 3pm) when they take on Brentford, before meeting Huddersfield Town under the lights three days later (k.o. 7pm).
