Wycombe Wanderers have teamed up with one of High Wycombe’s top restaurants, Lata Lata, to provide meals for the squad and coaching staff throughout their play-off campaign.
The squad resumed training this week after almost three months away, but are unable to make use of the kitchen and canteen area inside the building due to health and safety regulations relating to the EFL’s ‘return to training’ protocol.
Lata Lata have come to the rescue, providing takeaway meals with side dishes and fruit options for the players and staff to enjoy after their training sessions.
Ross Hunt, co-owner of Lata Lata, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with our local football club, particularly during such an exciting time for the club and the whole town, and we’re really pleased to hear the meals have been well received by the players. We wish the club every success in the play-offs and hope to welcome the players and staff to the restaurant once we’re able to fully re-open.”
Lata Lata are currently running a ‘click and collect’ service during the temporary closure of their restaurant; visit latalata.co.uk to learn more.
