Wycombe Wanderers are delighted to confirm that a number of its play-off winning heroes will be remaining at Adams Park for its next adventure in the Championship.

Club captain Matt Bloomfield, top scorer Joe Jacobson and ever-present defender Anthony Stewart have all signed multi-year deals to extend their stays with the club, while Adebayo Akinfenwa has also pledged his 2020/21 season to the Chairboys by penning a one-year contract. Bloomfield’s deal also includes coaching responsibilities.

Wanderers can also confirm that Alex Pattison has triggered a clause in his contract to extend his stay with the club for another year, based on achieving a number of appearances.

Sido Jombati, Jamie Mascoll, Jacob Gardiner-Smith and Craig Mackail-Smith will be leaving Adams Park this summer at the end of their contracts. Wanderers thank each of them for their service, paying particular gratitude to Sido, who arrived in 2014 at the very beginning of a new era in Chairboys history and became a fans’ favourite, playing a significant part in the club’s progress in his near-200 appearances.

We wish Sido, Jamie, Jacob and Craig every success for the future.
