Wanderers look forward to welcoming players from Berkhamsted Raiders - who play in the South Bucks Youth League, partnered with the club - at Saturday's meeting with Tranmere Rovers at Adams Park.
The Raiders U18 Reds will collect a Star Performer Team Award pitchside at half-time, having been unbeaten since early November, putting themselves firmly back into contention to retain the Division 1 title that they won last season. A win against one of their main title rivals this Sunday will improve their chances of lifting the league trophy once again.
They have also progressed to the quarter-finals of the Hertfordshire FA Youth Team Cup, having beaten last year finalists Hitchin Town 3-0 in the previous round.
Sam’s performances in midfield have attracted compliments from players, supporters and opponents throughout the season.
This culminated in his MoM display in the County Cup last month, when against top level U18 opposition, and alongside many brilliant displays from his own team mates, he put in another outstanding midfield performance and scored a cracking solo goal into the mix.
