The latest financial contribution to the club from the Official Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Association (OWWSA) has funded the purchase of a new ice machine at Wanderers’ training ground, aiding the recovery and medical treatment of Chairboys players.
OWWSA make regular donations to the club from the proceeds of their fundraising initiatives, which range from away coach travel, race nights and bingo events at Adams Park, and have made possible the purchase of items including a new mower, computer equipment for the LED screen at Adams Park and many other resources at the stadium.
Chairman Trevor Stroud said: “The ice machine is a vital part of the medical team’s armoury at the training ground and after the old machine developed a fault, a replacement one was high on the wish list, given its importance to the squad. OWWSA’s generous support of the club has made it possible for us to acquire a new one and, on behalf of Gareth Ainsworth and his staff and players, our thanks go to its committee and members for providing the funds.”
