Young Chairboys fan Toby Bale has been playing a huge part in his local community in Hazlemere, delivering leaflets to encourage donations to the One Can Trust foodbank.
The club launched a fundraiser for the foodbank earlier this month, generating more than £5,500 for the charity, while volunteers have been showing their support by setting up collection points on their streets for local residents to donate tinned goods to help families in crisis during the coronavirus pandemic.
13-year-old Toby is a Wanderers season ticket holder in the Beechdean Stand, and plays football for Holy Trinity Hotspur in the Chiltern Church Junior League. His league season was cancelled a few weeks ago, but Hotspur have recently been informed that they have been crowned champions of their division.
He’s really enjoying being able to be useful helping the One Can Trust - click here for more information about their Street Heroes programme.
Well done Toby!
