15 October 2019

The latest act to perform in the Chairboys Village on a Wanderers matchday will be Space Elevator, who'll be appearing ahead of Saturday's League 1 meeting with Sunderland at Adams Park.

Space Elevator were formed by guitarist David Young and flamboyant lead singer The Duchess. The line up is completed by Brian Greene (drums and Chairboys season ticket holder) and Chas Maguire (bass).

The band released their debut album in 2015, followed by “Space Elevator II” in 2018 on German label SPV, which entered The Official UK Rock chart top 30 and the UK Indie chart top 20.

The album includes the next single “Queen For A Day” which showcases Freddie Mercury and Queen collaborator Mike Moran on piano.

Space Elevator II also features “We Can Fly”, the video for which was shot atop the largest privately owned satellite dish in the world, owned by Thoth Technology, Canada, designers of the world’s first 20km high space elevator.

Space Elevator have a three week European tour in March 2020.
