New safety measure introduced to terrace

Painted area behind goal to be kept clear.

9 October 2019

Wycombe Wanderers have introduced a new safety measure in its terraced area at Adams Park, in light of a series of recent injuries suffered by supporters against the front perimeter rail.

Four medical incidents have been caused this season as a result of supporters rushing from an area directly behind the goal, but in front of the safety barrier, towards the rail during goal celebrations and causing harm to fellow fans.

To combat this issue, this area has been painted yellow to indicate that supporters are not to stand in this area, but should instead remain behind the safety barrier.

The capacity of the terrace has not been affected as a result of this measure, and the club will continue to review the situation going forward.

Wanderers would like to remind supporters to be mindful of those around them at all times, to ensure a safe and enjoyable matchday experience for all.
