Karen Adams, the granddaughter of Frank Adams, and president of Wycombe Wanderers Trust, has written an open letter to Trust members as they begin voting on whether or not to approve Rob Couhig's investment into the club:
My grandfather Frank Adams gifted Loakes Park to WWFC on the proviso that it remained an amateur club. It was my father Jack Adams, former Patron of WWFC, who was part of the team that created Adams Park, allowing the Club to play at League level.
I see Adams Park as his legacy.
Rob Couhig’s investment in the Football Club has been crucial this season.
As a Trustee of Wycombe Wanderers Sports and Education Trust (“WWSET), I appreciate his support for the charitable arm of the Club, and look forward to the strengthening of WWSET in the future.
