Local students receive career advice at Adams Park

Beaconsfield School pupils take on career advice.

11 June 2019

Pupils from Beaconsfield School received career advice from a range of Chairboys representatives during a special visit to Adams Park on Tuesday morning.

In association with the Buckinghamshire Thames Valley Local Enterprise Partnership scheme, the visit enabled Year 9 students to shape their decisions around GCSE subject choices and learn more about gaining work experience and taking the first steps in their professional careers.

The youngsters received a tour from the Sports & Education Trust's Education Manager Mark Heath, including a visit to Stadium Manager Gordon Reilly in the control room, and learned more about the club's off-field operations from media men Matt Cecil and Conor Shaw, and general manager Michael Davies.
