Using the car? These are the recommended road directions
The Memorial Stadium is located on Filton Avenue, just off the Gloucester Road (A38) and is approximately 2 miles from the centre of Bristol. Exit the M4 at J19, taking the M32 signposted Bristol. After 3.1 miles, exit at J2 and take the 3rd exit signposted Horfield and Southmead. Follow the road through a division and a roundabout both of which have clear signs to “The Memorial Stadium”. Once through this area you join Muller Road. Drive along here for 1.4 miles until you come to signal-controlled crossroads. Signposted right is Horfield Health Centre and Library. At this junction, ignore the sign and turn left into Filton Avenue. The ground is almost immediately on the left.

Mileage from High Wycombe = 101 (approx. journey time 1 hour 50 minutes)

Recommended area for car parking
Finding a space within a five to ten-minute walk is usually relatively easy - parking on Muller Road is a popular choice as is Gloucester Road. If Muller Road and Gloucester Road are busy then there are many other roads across the other side of Gloucester Road - travel past the Wellington pub along Kellaway Avenue and you'll find another area of roads often used for match day parking. Although there is plenty of on-street parking available, it is a predominately residential area so please ensure that private driveways are not obstructed.

Travelling by coach?
OWWSA will be running a coach that will leave Adams Park at 11.30. Travel prices are £19 for adults, £18 for seniors, and £17 for juniors. The price for non-members is £24 (no refund if game is cancelled and the coaches have left their depot). Non-members are required to pay at the time of booking their seat.  If you wish to book by phone (Rena 01494 520179, Graham 07876 267301) or by e-mail ( you need to do so by Thursday 8th August 8th at 5pm.

Using the train?
Bristol Parkway is about two miles from the ground and buses 73/73A/73B run from the railway station past the Memorial Stadium. Another option is to take a local train from Temple Meads to Montpelier. From there the ground is about a 30-minute walk.

Facilities for away fans
The ground capacity is 12,300. Away supporters are mostly housed in an open terrace on one side of the East Stand. This area is open to the elements so be prepared to get wet. In addition, seats are made available to away fans in the South Stand at one end of the ground. This stand is also used by home fans.

Spare time on your hands?
There is a bar behind the clubhouse terrace at the ground that usually admits away fans. Alcohol is not made available to away fans inside the stadium. There are plenty of food outlets in the Gloucester Road area. Not far from the Memorial Stadium on Gloucester Road is “The Wellington”. This serves food and normally has a mix of home and away fans on matchdays. Also on Gloucester Road is a micropub called “The Drapers Arms”. Also coming recommended is “The Annexe Inn” on Seymour Road. Note that other pubs near to the stadium such as the Queen Vic, the Anchor and the Royal Oak, are best avoided by visiting supporters.
