Wycombe Wanderers Ladies moved top of the league with a 5-0 victory over Eastleigh on Sunday, with Christina O'Connor scoring twice.

Previous leaders Moneyfields were without a fixture and the Chairgirls took full advantage, sweeping the south coast club aside with additional goals from Tara Woodward, Chloe Ball and Emma Newberry.

Abingdon remained hot on their heels, winning 9-1 at Basingstoke, though the Blues have a chance to move further ahead next weekend when they meet Shanklin at Spring Lane, Flackwell Heath, while neither Moneyfields nor Abingdon have a league game.

Wycombe have 30 points from 12 games, with Moneyfields in second on 27 points from nine, and Abingdon one place and three points behind them from nine played.

Kick-off on Sunday is at 2pm; admission and parking is free.

Then in February, they face MK Dons in the Berks & Bucks Women's Senior Cup semi-final on Sunday 17th, and then Southampton in the League Cup semi-final a week later on Sunday 24th, both at Spring Lane in Flackwell Heath, and both kicking off at 2pm.
