Eastenders star Danny Dyer has confirmed he’ll play in the Sellebrity match at Adams Park on Sunday 7th April, helping to raise funds for the Sports & Education Trust’s Keep Moving Forward programme.
The popular actor will line up alongside Wanderers manager Gareth Ainsworth and the likes of Soccer AM’s Tubes, Ashley Cain from Ex On The Beach and Love Island’s Jack Fowler, as well as former Chairboys heroes Keith Ryan and Mark West.
Kicking off at 3pm, the match provides great entertainment for all the family and comes with the added opportunity to win a half-day pitch hire at Adams Park for schools, sports teams or businesses, which will be awarded to the group that books the most tickets.
Tickets are now on sale at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions (seniors aged 65+ and juniors under 16) while there’s a VIP option for £35 per person which includes a one-course lunch and meet and greet opportunities with the players after the match.
All proceeds will support the ‘Keep Moving Forward’ programme, which provides two weekly activities to support local people who suffer from problems with their mental health. These activities encompass a community walk and a physical activity session that utilises movement as a way to learn about emotions, coping strategies and a chance to socialise with others.
Other celebrities likely to be involved in the Sellebrity match, subject to work commitments, include Calum Best, Dan Osborne, Jake Wood, Ben Jardine, James Argent, Liam Gatsby, Sam Bird, MC Harvey, Dean Gaffney, Warren Phillips, Nev Wilshire, Dean Overson, Kieran Nicholls, Danny Boy Hatchard, Haks, Jimmy Constable, Terry Alderton, Dom Lever and Sam Bailey.
