Rob's New Year message

A note to the supporters of Wycombe Wanderers from Rob Couhig.

31 December 2019

Prospective majority shareholder Rob Couhig shares a New Year message ahead of the January 1st showdown with Ipswich Town at a packed-out Adams Park.

Greetings!

A New Year and a new day for Wycombe Wanderers Football Club! 2020 already looks pretty special.

For our family, it’s a time of tremendous excitement. It appears that everything is in place for the transition of the majority interest in the Club to our company, Feliciana EFL Limited.

We recognize that our ownership is really a custodial one. We intend to honour the trust placed in us by working every day to make the club better and more sustainable on and off the pitch.

Wycombe Wanderers Trust have done a great job preserving the football club. Without it and many individuals working with it, it’s fair to say the Club may well have become only a memory. We appreciate their allowing us to take our turn with their baby!

The New Year will be exciting. We intend to continue to make significant improvements in your game day experience, our online availability, and the Club’s presence in the community.

Of course, we will be working to bring the excitement of the Wycombe Wanderers Worldwide Phenomenon everywhere! It’s our expectation that those who are exposed to the experience will become fans for life, just as we have.

We will need your help. This very much remains a fan-owned club. We have just added new fans to the ownership. Please do not hesitate to make recommendations to any of us. We can’t guarantee that they will be implemented but we can guarantee they will be considered. Together we can continue this journey toward a great, sustainable future for the Club.

Please know that from the entire worldwide Couhig Family, you have our sincere hope for a Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New Year!
