Let's get back to talking about football, shall we?

Two and a half weeks away from action may have seen attention diverted elsewhere - including to Gareth Ainsworth's diploma in football management, record release, and League 1 Manager of the Month award - but this Saturday the Wanderers return to Adams Park looking to pick up where they left off in November.

The Chairboys have won their last three home games, and eight in 10 in total, but their pursuit of continued momentum will be threatened by a Burton side who boast the third best away record in the division, even if recent results at their Pirelli Stadium home have hampered their attempts to surge towards the top six.

In the final home game before Christmas, there's plenty going on around the stadium ahead of kick-off, before both sets of fans take their seats for a festive footballing feast.

Team News.jpg

Anthony Stewart is in line for his 200th Wanderers appearance across two spells, while Fred Onyedinma is the only likely absentee as he continues his rehab from a long-standing injury.

Burton are without the suspended John-Joe O'Toole but could welcome back Oliver Sarkic, Reece Hutchinson and John Brayford from injury.

Man in the Middle
Neil Hair took charge of a Wycombe match as recently as October – the 1-0 win at Rotherham, where he handed out seven yellow cards.

In total he’s dished out 45 yellow and two red cards in 14 games this season.

Ticket News.jpg

Chairboys fans can by online at any time and save £2 through the new TicketCo platform, either on the website at tickets.wwfc.com or the TicketCo Wallet app.

Fans are encouraged to use the online platform rather than queuing to buy a ticket from Ticket Office 1 or 2. Buying online saves you time and money, which can be better spent in the shop, bar or stadium bowl.

Please also note that there will be no cash turnstile facility in the home areas; all fans are required to present a ticket (either the QR code on a smartphone/printout, or a physical ticket).

Supporters are advised to download their QR code to their smartphone wallet, or screenshot it to the camera roll, to prevent any issues using internet data to retrieve the code from emails whilst entering at the turnstile.

Click here for the full ticket details, including prices.

Tickets will be available on the day for Burton fans.

Whats On.jpg

The Chairboys Village is open for business from noon, sponsored by Printkick, with the Rebellion beer tent, BBQ, Beyond BBQ vegan grill and carols from Rachael Samuel and the Wycombe Community Gospel Choir. Wycombe Wanderers Sports & Education Trust will also be inviting youngsters to test out their shooting skills on their inflatable activity.

At the car park entrance, Father Christmas will be meeting visitors, accompanied by music from the Chiltern Music Academy.

The Rebellion Market Hall will be open in the Frank Adams Stand concourse from 1pm, with the early Premier League kick-off shown on TV, the kiosks open, and Rebellion beer for all.

Across the stadium, volunteers from the Time To Change movement will be handing out goodies and also spreading messages of encouragement for fans to look out for those who may be struggling with their mental health this Christmas. There'll also be encouragement for fans to turn on their mobile phone flash lights to pledge their support for the movement at half-time.

We're collecting gift donations to hand out to patients and staff in the Wycombe General Hospital children's ward, and to Tone Coffee Shop's local project for less fortunate children. Please donate a gift at the deliveries entrance, to the left of the shop.

Meanwhile, the new wine bar in Monty's is open from 12pm, with a wide range of wines on offer.

Due to Christmas parties taking place after the match, the Caledonian Suite will be shut from kick-off, and the Woodlands Lounge will close after half-time.
