Introducing the Wycombe Blue Swans!

New cheer squad to make Adams Park debut at Saturday's fixture.

15 August 2019

Wycombe Wanderers are excited to unveil a new cheer squad at Adams Park for Saturday’s League 1 fixture against Milton Keynes Dons (kick-off 3pm).

The Wycombe Blue Swans are part of a team of cheerleaders from Fan Xperience Inc, who have worked with Manchester City, Leicester City, Peterborough United, Northants County Cricket and Barbarians Rugby, and will be making their debut at the home of the Wanderers this weekend.

As well as performing dance routines on the pitch before the game and at half-time, the Blue Swans will be meeting fans around the stadium and handing out some free goodies from club sponsors Printkick, who specialise in promotional merchandise.

Mark Palmer, part of the club’s new management structure, said: “I’ve worked with Fan Xperience Inc at previous clubs and seen  first hand the fantastic response they receive from supporters, so we’re excited to introduce them to Adams Park and work with them to continue to improve the entertainment and fan engagement around the stadium.

“As well as being a top-class cheerleading squad, they’ll play a big part in welcoming fans on arrival, handing out free gifts and engaging with supporters of both clubs in our fan zones. I’d like to welcome Zoe Rutherford and her team to Wycombe Wanderers, and also a big thank you goes to Inder Brar at Printkick for sponsoring the cheer squad’s appearance at this weekend’s game and providing some giveaways which I’m sure will be popular with the fans.”

Zoe Rutherford, Managing Director of Fan Xperience Inc, said: “Wycombe Wanderers have always had a fantastic reputation as being a family-friendly and welcoming club, and we’re thrilled to be working with them for this weekend’s game.

“We’ve heard lots about the buzz and excellent atmosphere around Adams Park at the first two games of the season and look forward to being part of it, meeting as many supporters as possible, and performing on the pitch as part of the pre-game and half-time entertainment.”

You can now follow the Wycombe Blue Swans on Instagram at ‘wycombeblueswans’; the squad will be out and about round the stadium taking photos and selfies with supporters, so don’t be shy to get involved and join them!
