Chairboys Village opens this Saturday!

New home fan zone sponsored by Printkick.

22 August 2019

Wanderers are excited to launch the new Chairboys Village for home supporters at Saturday's League 1 fixture against Southend United (k.o. 3pm).

Sponsored by Printkick, the Chairboys Village is an expansion of the existing fan zone at the far end of the car park, home to the Rebellion beer tent, and will include a BBQ and live music from talented local musician Kirsty Fuller.

The Chairboys Village will also provide outdoor furniture and astroturf, in a secure setting with drivers now offered a new route to park their vehicles away from the area.

Mark Palmer, part of the club's new management structure, said: "One of our top priorities has been to improve the matchday experience for all visitors to Adams Park, and while away fans have been well catered for in the Printkick Fan Zone towards the entrance to the car park, we've moved quickly to provide a similar offering for our own supporters at the far end.

"We want the Chairboys Village to be an entertaining and welcoming place for fans to be able to arrive early, soak up the atmosphere, and socialise together before entering the stadium to watch the game.

"I'd like to thank Printkick and the Rebellion Brewery in Marlow for working with us to make this possible, and we're excited to kick things off with a live music performance from Kirsty Fuller at Saturday's game.

"We have further developments for the Chairboys Village in the pipeline, and I'd like to encourage all home fans to check it out on Saturday, and welcome all Southend fans in the Printkick Fan Zone when they arrive."

The Chairboys Village is situated close to the entrance of the Caledonian Suite, which will be open as normal, offering pie and chips and an ale festival, as well as the regular fully-stocked bar. Both facilities will be open at half-time and full-time for home supporters.

To mark the launch of the Chairboys Village, Printkick have provided 500 pairs of sunglasses to give away, in a variety of colours. Wanderers supporters are encouraged to post photos of themselves wearing the glasses - using the hashtag #EyesOnThePrize - and Printkick will select winners at random to receive a free Printkick goodie bag.
