A host of former Chairboys stars will return to Adams Park for the screening of Sergio Torres' new film, The Unknown Torres, on Saturday 11th May.
Tommy Mooney, Leon Johnson, Danny Senda, Scott Shearer, Steven Gregory and Tom Cadmore are the first to confirm their attendance at the special event, which brings Torres back to the place where he started his professional career.
The Argentine midfielder has teamed up with film-maker Jasper Spanjaart to tell his unique story which took him from a job in a brick-making factory in his home country, to pursuing his dream of becoming a professional footballer in England.
Torres – who also released a book about his adventure in 2014 – will be back to share his film with Wanderers fans, and take part in a Q&A session, have photos and sign copies of the DVD, which will be available to purchase on the night.
The club are also delighted to invite guests to join Sergio for a friendly kickabout on the pitch ahead of the screening, giving attendees the opportunity to step out on the hallowed turf at Adams Park and join the illustrious list of names to have scored in front of the Valley Terrace!
Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for juniors aged 18 and under, and will be on sale later this month, and available on the day. The kickabout will run from 5pm to 6pm, before guests move into the Caledonian Suite for the screening of the film and Q&A. The bar will be open, with food available to purchase.
To book tickets, head online to tickets.wwfc.com, call 01494 441118 or visit the shop at Adams Park (10am to 5pm on weekdays excluding Wednesdays). Guests have the option to pre-purchase a DVD for £10 at the time of booking, which can be signed by Sergio on the night.
Full details about the event, including the format of the kickabout on the pitch, and what to bring, will be issued in due course.
