5 March 2018

Chairboys fan Bill Turnbull will be battling it out in the Great Celebrity Bake Off For Stand Up To Cancer on Tuesday evening – and there’s a special Wycombe Wanderers twist to his baking attempts.

Bill, a former BBC Breakfast presenter and currently with Classic FM, has previously appeared on Strictly Come Dancing and celebrity editions of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? and The Chase, and is now putting his skills in the kitchen to the test alongside Harry Hill, Martin Kemp and Roisin Conaty.

Stand Up To Cancer raises funds to accelerate the pace of groundbreaking research that can get new therapies to patients quickly, supported by a number of special editions of popular TV shows on Channel 4.

Bill’s Bake Off programme will be shown at 8pm on Tuesday evening on Channel 4, and viewers are encouraged to make a donation either via the website at http://www.channel4.com/programmes/stand-up-to-cancer or by phone:

- To donate £10 or £20 text: TEN or TWENTY to 70404*
- Call to donate on: 0300 123 4444

* +1 std rate message. UK residents 16+ only, please ask bill payer’s permission.

Meanwhile, Bill will be back to more familiar territory on Saturday, accompanying Phil Catchpole in the press box for live iFollow commentary of the Chairboys' League 2 clash with Cambridge.
