Gareth Ainsworth has secured his second signing of the summer as the Chairboys prepare for life in League 1, bringing goalkeeper Ryan Allsop back to the club on a three-year deal.
Allsop, 26, returns to Adams Park having made 18 appearances for Wycombe during a loan spell at the end of the 2015/16 season.
The keeper left Premier League side AFC Bournemouth at the conclusion of his contract last month and joins the Blues on a free transfer, following spells on loan at Blackpool and Lincoln City last season.
Ainsworth said: “Ryan was our number 1 priority when we started making plans for next season so I’m delighted to be able to bring him back to the club, but on a permanent deal this time.
“We know what he’s all about and I was really impressed with him during his time on loan here, so I’ve kept a close eye on his progress ever since. He’s a fantastic shot stopper but he’s also great in the air and his distribution is first class, which he proved when he played against us for Lincoln a couple of months ago.
“It’s a hugely important signing for us and with Yves Ma-Kalambay signed up already for next year, we have two excellent keepers on our books who can compete for the number one jersey.”
