Wycombe Wanderers vs Brentford
Tuesday 17th July 2018, k.o. 7.45pm
Adams Park
Referee: David Rock

Pre-season friendly number two sees Championship Brentford visit Adams Park this evening as Wanderers step up their preparations for the new campaign.

Dean Smith's Bees have achieved four successive top-half finishes since winning promotion from League 1 and look well set for another assault on the play-offs this time around.

Both sides lost their opening friendly, with Brentford going down 2-1 to Karlsruhe in Germany while the Blues were edged out 1-0 by West Ham on Saturday.

It's been two years since they last met, when Dayle Southwell netted in a 1-1 draw at Adams Park, though both sides used to regular opponents in the league, meeting 26 times between 1994 and 2012.
