FundingSecure take up Inside Matchday sponsorship

Stokenchurch-based business pledge support to online series of videos.

17 July 2018

Wycombe Wanderers have teamed up with Stokenchurch-based business FundingSecure, who will sponsor the club’s popular Inside Matchday series of online videos.

Inside Matchday was introduced to Wanderers’ social media platforms during the early months of last season, capturing highlights of games from pitchside courtesy of camera operator Dan Brown.

Achieving around half a million impressions across social media, including spectacular footage of the club’s promotion celebrations, Inside Matchday will now carry the logo of FundingSecure, who will also enjoy the use of an executive box at Adams Park for a number of fixtures throughout the 2018/19 season.

FundingSecure is a peer-to-peer investment platform that offers loans to people needing money for a variety of different reasons, secured against assets such as property, luxury cars and other valuables. Investors are able to select which loans they wish to invest in - starting from as low as £25, typically returning 12-13% pa.

Nigel Hackett, director of FundingSecure, said: “Wycombe Wanderers have really put the local area on the map with their recent successes and we’re thrilled to partner with them by sponsoring the Inside Matchday video series. We’d love to hear from any supporters who are interested in exploring the investment opportunities that we are able to offer, including via a tax-free ISA, and look forward to developing our partnership with the club.”

Michael Davies, general manager of Wycombe Wanderers, added: “Inside Matchday became a must-watch video feature amongst our fans last season thanks to the hard work from our in-house media team and we’re delighted to be able to extend the series into 2018/19 with the support of FundingSecure. The ongoing support of local businesses is crucial to our progress as a club and we hope to have a long and fruitful relationship with Nigel and his team going forward.”
