Wycombe Wanderers’ promotion achievements of last season will decorate the walls of the tunnel area at Adams Park for the 2018/19, thanks to a new project in association with Marlow-based company A Wise Signs.
Images of celebrations from the final two games at Chesterfield and Stevenage have been printed onto large boards which will meet the players as they arrive at the changing room each matchday, while the training ground at Booker has also been adorned with large banners of the current generation of Chairboys stars.
A Wise Signs, who have taken up an advertising board close to the entrance to the car park at Adams Park and will also sponsor all ‘Tunnel Cam’ footage, have also replaced the door vinyls leading from the reception area into the Conference Centre.
Matt Cecil, head of media and marketing at the club, said: “We wanted to put this Wycombe team’s stamp on the tunnel area and training ground, and there was no better time to do it than straight after our promotion success, with some fantastic photos which will constantly remind the players, staff and visitors of the hard work and effort that it took to get to League 1.
“We’re extremely grateful for Arran and the team at A Wise Signs for working with us on these projects and look forward to more developments around the place over the weeks and months to come.”
Arran Wise, director of A Wise Signs, said: “Each job we do is different but this one was particularly enjoyable for us and it was great to hear that the new banners at the training ground were a pleasant surprise for the players when they walked in to see themselves on the wall.
“Partnering with Wycombe Wanderers is a positive step for us and we’d love to hear from other local businesses who are looking for help with their signage, whether it’s wall or car graphics, external wall signs, banners or anything else.”
