17 January 2018

Goalkeeper Yves Ma-Kalambay will remain at Adams Park until the end of the season after an agreeing an extension to his current contract.

Formerly of Chelsea, Swansea and Hibernian, Ma-Kalambay - aged 31 - arrived on a short-term deal in October, acting as deputy to first-choice stopper Scott Brown, and played for the Chairboys in two Checkatrade Trophy fixtures.

Manager Gareth Ainsworth said: “Yves has integrated into the squad really well and has shown us enough in training and his two matches so far that he’s more than capable of stepping into the team if needed.

“Scott is having an excellent season and it helps him to have someone like Yves to train alongside and to push him to keep his standards as high as possible.”
