Wanderers have secured the loan signing of another exciting young talent, bringing Watford forward Randell Williams to Adams Park for the rest of the season.
The 21-year-old earned his first contract in professional football after impressing on trial with Crystal Palace in January 2016, having started out in the ninth tier with Tower Hamlets.
He switched to Watford in the summer and featured regularly for their under-23 side before coming on trial with the Chairboys last week, catching the eye of manager Gareth Ainsworth.
“Randell has looked really sharp in training and he gives us another option in attack as we move into the final few months of the season,” Ainsworth said. “He’s lightning quick, very direct, and I’m sure he can learn a lot from some fantastic experienced players that we’ve got here.
“With Nathan McGinley and Tafari Moore joining us last week, the squad is looking stronger with more options available, so competition for places will be fierce and that’s a good problem for a manager to have.”
Williams will wear squad number 24 and will be eligible to play in tomorrow’s Sky Bet League 2 match at Crewe Alexandra.
