Ladies on the lookout for new signings

Could you join the team?

22 February 2018

Wycombe Wanderers are committed to help build the women’s game in the UK, writes Ladies coach Andy McIntosh.

We would like to attract players with good technical ability and potential and who benefit from structured coaching and a strong team-ethic, who share that vision.

The aspiration of the club is to improve the squad and play at increasingly higher levels. To achieve this and continue the development achieved so far this season, we will require an increase in the depth of the current squad.

The Wycombe Wanderers Ladies Team currently play in the Women’s Football League - Southern Region.

Overall, the commitment and determination shown by the core of the current squad has been extremely encouraging. The performances in the last six games have shown improving confidence and teamwork. Also, since playing on a 3G surface, the technical improvement has been evident with an especially impressive win over Southampton Reserves.

With next season in mind, the club intend to hold a series of open trials for players of the requisite ability levels who require increased game-time or who require experience at a higher level. We would also welcome younger players who may require help to develop their potential.

The Ladies set up has the added benefits of:

- Coaching staff including UEFA A Licence and specialist goalkeeping coaches
- Session with first-team players who are going through their coaching qualifications
- Official home/away/training kit
- Training and home games on 3G surface at Amersham & Wycombe College
- Training sessions at the WW Training Ground at Booker
- Professional official photographer at home matches
- Tickets to WW home games

Training takes place every Tuesday, 7pm – 8.30pm, at Amersham & Wycombe College, Spring Lane, Flackwell Heath, HP10 9HE.
