Team news, tickets, travel and more...

Wycombe Wanderers vs AFC Wimbledon
Saturday 22nd December 2018, k.o. 3pm
Adams Park
Referee: John Busby

The last fixture at Adams Park in 2018, and the Chairboys will be hoping to sign off a memorable year with their seventh win in a row on home turf.

Standing in their way is AFC Wimbledon with new manager, Wally Downes hoping for a victory to kick-start his reign at the Dons.

Away form hasn't been good of late for Wimbledon, who have lost their last seven league games on the road and have only managed to score once in their last five League One fixtures away from the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

This will be the first time the two teams have met since April 2016 where a brace from Lyle Taylor either side of a Michael Harriman strike was enough to give the South London side the points at Adams Park.

Team news
Stephen Henderson will be in goal this weekend after he extended his emergency loan with the club for a further seven days earlier this week. Adebayo Akinfenwa could be in contention to face his former side after completing a second week of full training. The game may come too soon for former Dons defender Darius Charles however and Matt Bloomfield is also likely to miss the clash.

In opposition, midfielder Mitch Pinnock will miss the game through suspension after seeing red at Charlton last weekend. James Hanson could be back in the starting XI  after dropping to the bench with illness last weekend, but Joe Pigott (thigh) and Deji Oshilaja (ankle) are expected to miss out.

Man in the middle
John Busby officiated Wycombe's 3-1 home win over rivals Colchester United last season, showing three yellow cards on that day.

So far Busby has dished out 53 bookings and two red cards in 23 games this season.
