Wanderers fans who have held a season ticket for a minimum of four consecutive years are urged to ensure they have become a member of Wycombe Wanderers Trust no later than December 8th, in order to be eligible to have their say in the forthcoming vote on potential investment into the club.
Trust membership costs just £10 a year and is available to all supporters, but those fans who are in (at least) their fourth consecutive year of holding a season ticket at the club are entitled to additional voting rights on matters such as:
- any decision to sell, transfer or otherwise dispose of Adams Park
- any decision to sell, transfer or otherwise dispose of shares in the Club that would result in the Trust’s shareholding being less than 50% +1
- any decision to sell club memorabilia
- such other decisions (relating to the history and character of the Club) as the Board of Directors may reasonably determine from time to time
As Trust members will be aware, the board of directors are currently in discussions with two American businessmen who have an interest in purchasing a majority share in the football club and a vote to approve the change of ownership structure is likely to take place in the New Year, requiring a 'yes' vote from 75% of all Legacy Members for it to go through.
If you are not a Trust member but have held a full season ticket for the past four seasons, then you can join the Trust by picking up a form from the Trust Table in the Caledonian Suite on matchdays or by downloading a copy of Membership Form 2019 which, when received together with your membership fee for the coming year, would result in your becoming a Legacy Member with the voting rights defined above.
Your Trust wishes to encourage you to join the already 600+ strong Trust members who are also currently Legacy Members, with the aim of ensuring that the Football Club achieves its true potential.
