Gareth Ainsworth has secured an extension to Stephen Henderson’s loan with the club, lengthening the keeper’s stay at Adams Park for a further seven days in the continued absence of Ryan Allsop and Yves Ma-Kalambay due to injury.
Henderson arrived on loan from Nottingham Forest last week and impressed in the 1-0 victory over Barnsley on Saturday, prompting the Blues boss to seek an extension to the emergency loan deal, which has been granted today.
Ainsworth said: “Stephen did extremely well on his debut for us and it was a no-brainer for us to secure another seven-day loan for him. He’s worked hard in training, he’s fitted in well with the boys and I’m really pleased we’ve been able to keep him.
