Gareth Ainsworth and six members of the Chairboys squad made a surprise visit to the children's ward at Wycombe General Hospital on Monday, distributing gifts for staff and patients.
Armed with flowers, chocolates, WWFC calendars, caps and more - all paid for by the squad - the players and manager made their annual visit to the children's ward to reward some of the NHS staff who'll be working long hours over Christmas, and chat to patients on the ward.
Dominic Gape, Adam El-Abd, Scott Kashket, Fred Onyedinma, Nathan Tyson and Jason McCarthy were the Blues stars in attendance, also distributing free tickets to the upcoming home games against AFC Wimbledon and Coventry City for staff and patients.
"But also we wanted to make sure the nurses and the rest of the staff weren't forgotten about. They'll be working long hours over Christmas to help other people, even when I'm sure they'd much rather be at home with their own families, and we were more than happy to take the time to visit them and hand out a few tokens of our appreciation."
