Craig Mackail-Smith has become the third Chairboys player this week to put pen to paper on a new contract, extending his stay at Adams Park for another two years.
The striker, 34, arrived on a free transfer in August and has netted 10 goals in 42 appearances so far, including a stunning hat-trick in the 4-0 win over Crawley Town plus vital winners at Colchester United and Crewe Alexandra.
Manager Gareth Ainsworth said: “Craig came to us with a fantastic pedigree across the EFL and has fitted in superbly with the way we play. As well as his goals, he brings an unbelievable work ethic and runs his socks off every game to help the team.
Mackail-Smith is just four games away from reaching 500 league appearances in his career, having struck his 150th league goal in the treble against Crawley.
Earlier this week, Nathan Tyson penned a new one-year deal while Matt Bloomfield extended his contract by a further two years.
