All you need to know.

Team news, tickets, travel and much more...

Wycombe Wanderers vs Forest Green Rovers
Saturday 2nd September 2017, k.o. 3pm
Adams Park
Referee: Scott Oldham

A first ever EFL meeting between the two clubs could see a raft of debutants on either side after the transfer window closed on Thursday night with both managers content with their recruitment.

Rovers added winger Will Randall and forward Toni Gomes to their ranks ahead of the deadline, although their attentions on Saturday may be at the other end of the pitch, having conceded the second most goals in the division so far.

They come up against a Wanderers side with the second most goals scored, and Gareth Ainsworth’s frontline has been bolstered by the arrival of striker Josh Umerah and creative midfielder Ebere Eze in the past week, as well as defender Dan Scarr.

Wycombe have also conceded more than they would have liked and are eyeing first clean sheet and home win of the new season, while Forest Green hunt their first point on the road as an EFL club.

Team news
Wycombe will be without Sam Saunders and Scott Kashket due to injury, but Nathan Tyson could return while Eze and Scarr are in contention for debuts.

Rovers boss Mark Cooper could be tempted to make a change in goal, with Sam Russell keeping a clean sheet in their midweek Checkatrade Trophy win.

Man in the middle
Scott Oldham takes charge of just his third EFL match, having been promoted from the National League in the summer.

He showed a red card to Grimsby’s Sam Jones at Stevenage, while he’s shown six yellows in total.

Via the free app ‘Layar’, fans can scan any page which displays the Layar icon to access online content which will include exclusive videos, competitions and special offers.

Beginning with a soft launch this Saturday for the game against Forest Green Rovers, supporters will be able to scan the front cover image of new loan signing Josh Umerah to watch a short video message from the Charlton striker, and also scan the back cover from 2.30pm onwards to view the teamsheet from that game.

Future editions will include more unlockable content – all for free – simply by scanning pages using the Layar app.

Download Layar today, ready for use on Saturday’s edition of Parklife, which costs just £3.50 from volunteer sellers around the ground.

Included in the programme are a six-page tribute to departing striker Paul Hayes, an away day review of the trip to Grimsby by Dan McDonald, columns from Gareth Ainsworth and Matt Bloomfield, reports and photos from the last two matches and all you need to know about the visitors, written by Tom Hancock.
